Make the Mathilde Blouse at Ray Stitch!

Exciting news! I'm going to be teaching the Mathilde Blouse at Ray Stitch!

We'll make the blouse together from scratch over two Saturdays - 2nd and 9th March 2013 - at Ray Stitch, 99 Essex Road, London N1 2SJ. Check out the deets.

As a training professional in my day job, I know everyone has their own preferred method of learning, which is why the Mathilde Blouse sewing pattern comes with both simplified written instructions (with tick boxes!) and detailed digital instructions with plenty of images. So it's fantastic to be able to offer a class as an alternative for people who like to see an IRL demonstration and have someone on hand to offer help when needed.

Plus in a workshop at a lovely place like this, you get to have a lot of fun hanging out with like-minded people, eating cake, ogling Ray Stitch's amazing selection of fabrics, eating cake... There are only six students maximum so you'll get lots of attention and we'll all have a good giggle together. What's not to like?!

Check out their other classes too if this one isn't for you. And while you're at it, they have some lovely lawns and voiles that would be perfect for the blouse.

  1. I wish!!! I absolutely am in love with this shop. I used to live in Hoxton many moons ago and it would have only been a stones throw away - these days I'm too far away to get down for classes - but I stalk their website obsessively :)

    1. Thanks Karen. Although I imagine I might be too busy helping other people with their tops to make one myself! x

  6. This is so exciting! I live right near here and I bought the fabric for my first ever sewing project (the one hour skirt, thank you!) from here. Unfortunately I can't make these sessions, will you be doing any others? I love your blog and the shop so it would be great to combine the both!!!
