Your Makes!

Your Makes!

Hello, sewing pals! It's Lexy at the keys once again to send some dressmaking inspo your way. Your makes over the last few months have been super inspiring, we've loved seeing how you've interpreted our sewing patterns by using different fabrics and embellishments - we've noticed a lot of ruffles and frills, of which we highly approve!

The Zadie dress pattern is still going strong, and these two makes are gorgeous. Laura's use of spots is cute and mega flattering, and Selmin has made the ULTIMATE stripy stretchy dress. Love!

Can we please take a moment to appreciate these two incredible Marigold jumpsuits? Lauren made hers with Rifle Paper Co fabric, and Lucy chose this cute ice cream print fabric for hers.

Lisa chose to combine two of our patterns, opting for a Bettine top half and cropped Marigold bottom half for this lovely, leafy make. For further inspiration on how you could hack your Marigold jumpsuit, check out this postJulia's palm print Bettine is stunning, the perfect thing for a holiday in the South of France!

The Etta dress is our latest release (and my personal favourite of our patterns!). It's a chic wiggle dress that lends itself really well to fabric with a bit of stretch and structure. Rachel reused this floral scuba to make her chic Etta dress, and Raliat also opted for a beautiful floral print fabric. We love both of these makes!

There are some strong sixties flower power vibes emitting from these beautiful makes. Jenny's Arielle skirt is the perfect fit (and we agree Jenny, it definitely is an "all-yearer"), and we would like Rosa's vibrant Francoise dress in our wardrobe, pleeeeease!

April's striped Agnes top is perfection - how chic and classic is this outfit? Anna's floral Fifi pyjama set is sweet and ideal for summer.

Carmen made this incredible Agnes dress (following the tutorial on our blog) to great result...and I couldn't resist including this pic of Tilly in her maternity Agnes hack! Any expectant mamas out there? Watch this space for something exciting coming later in the summer...

Essi's vibrant red Arielle skirt is really eye catching, especially with the contrast buttons. Christiane's baby blue Cleo dungaree dress is equally as gorgeous, and props for excellent background coordination!

The Bettine dress is a fantastic wardrobe staple all year round, but it really comes into its own in the warmer months. Desireé made this incredible blue version, whilst Ely's stripy number is supremely covetable - and it seems that raffia baskets are the only way to accessorise.

These two makers have embraced a pink and black colour scheme for their Cleo dungaree dresses, and we love it! Ellie added frills to her Cleo straps, whilst Lisa's pink Cleo dungaree dress is adorable.

And there's yet more frills! Abi added some to the sleeves of her Coco dress, and wrote a tutorial for how to do the same. Lisa added trumpet sleeves (or trompetenärmeln, in German) to her Agnes top, and it looks gorgeous!

Jess made a gorgeous Delphine skirt using the pattern in our first book, Love at First Stitch. Rebecca also made a skirt from the book, the Clemence skirt. Both are beauties.

We love seeing how you style your makes, and Martina shows that you can't go wrong with two classics - the Mathilde blouse and some trusty Converse. Ellie's pastel pink Miette skirt is lovely too, so sweet!

Last, but by no means least, we have Trish in her flannel Rosa shirt (made on our Sew Your Own Shirt or Shirt Dress online workshop) and Patsy in her vibrant Rosa shirt dress. Gorgeous makes from both!

Phew - there are so many gorgeous handmades out there, it was really hard to whittle them down for this post. Don't forgot to check out other amazing makes on the Maker Gallery, and tag your creations with #SewingCleo (or whatever the name of the pattern is) so we can see it on Instagram. You can also email us a pic of your make!

Happy stitching!
