Inside our Online Dressmaking Workshop
Today I thought I'd tell you a little bit more about our latest online workshop - Sew Your Own Knockout Dress - and give you a peek inside the members-only workshop site.
I've spent a lot of time developing each of our five sewing workshops to ensure they're clear, well-structured, user-friendly and jam-packed full of learning points. In fact, I've been designing workshops professionally for over a decade and it's my favourite job in the world!

So what do you get when you sign up to one of our online workshops?
As soon as you've signed up, you get access to the online classroom, which is exclusively for members. You'll also set up a username and password which allows you to come back to the site whenever you like, as many times as you like.
The first page features a short video in which I introduce you to the workshop and share some tips on how to get the most out of the class. Then you can dive straight in to the lessons!
The contents page gives you an overview of all the lessons. Sew Your Own Knockout Dress includes 15 lessons - from cutting and fitting the dress, through sewing perfectly matched seams and shaping with darts, to setting in sleeves, inserting an invisible zip, creating a striking flat collar, creating a kick pleat... and more!
The lessons include 13 videos, written tuition, step-by-step photos and checklists. The videos are professionally produced and edited, and allow you to watch the sewing in action up close. You can pause and rewind the videos as many times as you like in case you didn't get something first time - so so helpful!
You can access the workshop anytime you like, as many times as you like, with no deadlines - so choose the best time for you, and get sewing!
