What’s an Instaspam Party?!
The #SewingMartha Instaspam Party is an online gathering to celebrate our love of making our own clothes and to showcase your Martha dress creations.
We absolutely LOVE to see how you bring Tilly and the Buttons patterns to life with your fabric choices, embellishment ideas, design hacks and all-round passion for handmade fashion. So we're going to have a virtual knees-up to celebrate.
The party is also a great opportunity to make new sewing friends, see how the pattern looks on a range of people with different body shapes/colouring/personal style, get inspiration for your sewing, and generally have a big sewing lover love-in. Previous parties have been a lot of fun!

Saturday 7 May 2016 - all day
So you've got four and a half weeks to get your pattern, choose your fabric and make your lovely Martha dress.
How do I take part?
1. Take an amazing photo of your finished Martha dress
2. Post it to Instagram on Saturday 7 May
3. Add the hashtags #SewingMartha and #sewing, and tag us @TillyButtons
4. Search the #SewingMartha hashtag to find other people who are at the party. Like their posts, leave comments, follow each other... spread good karma and have fun!
Get creative with your photos - bold, bright, uncluttered images stand out in busy feeds. And remember it’s a party! Think fun poses, colourful backgrounds, cocktails and party paraphernalia…
Ooh and there will be party favours!
This isn’t a contest, it’s just for fun, but we’re going to do a round up blog post after the party showing a selection of Martha dress pics that made us jump for joy. As a thank you, we’ll send each of the people featured in that post a sewing pattern of their choice from our shop.
