Like me, you may be deeply envying the skills of seamstresses like Ali and Casey who have no problem whipping up a vintage-style swimsuit. Recognising that such a project is waaaay out of my sewing comfort zone, I've been on the hunt for a 1950s style swimsuit that I can call my own (a new one, not thrifted - can't risk a ripped seam or perished lining at the pool!).
I eventually stumbled upon For Luna, which sells a stunning selection of swoonsome swimwear. And guess what? For Luna have agreed to offer one of my lovely blog readers a swimsuit of their choice! Hurrah! To enter the giveaway, have a look at the gorgeous swimsuits on the For Luna website, choose the one you'd like to win, then leave a comment on my blog saying which is your favourite. The deadline for entries is Friday 10th September at 23:00 GMT, and the winner will be picked at random. Swimsuit choice subject to availability. Don't forget to leave your email or some way for me to contact you if you win.
I'm the proud owner of this red, ruched number, designed by none other than bathing beauty Esther Williams:
I love it! It's fantastically well constructed and unbelievably flattering - I've been doing a lot of posing and pouting around my local lido.
Esther Williams, whose hair looks neater than mine when I go swimming
