Your Makes!

Stella hoodie and joggers

Hands up if you're ready for some serious sewing inspo? It's Frances here, TATB's Office and Wholesale Assistant, with a roundup of some of your beautiful makes from our sewing patterns. Here at Buttons HQ, we love seeing what you've been sewing - and these are just a few of the gorgeous garments you've shared which are getting us all inspired for a new year full of sewing projects.

Over the past year, we've seen lots of you stitching your dream loungewear sets using the Stella hoodie and joggers patterns from Tilly's book Stretch!. Ruth made this gorgeous, sunshine yellow outfit which is perfect for brightening up those stay at home days. And is there anything cuter than Esther's candyfloss pink set with her co-ordinating trainers?

Lotta dress

The Lotta dress is a great project for beginners, or a satisfyingly speedy sew sure to kick your sewjo into gear! Gina's choice of a monochrome print works amazingly with the pattern's classic A-line shape. Linzi has hacked the pattern to add a mock turtleneck by using the Freya bodice and sleeves (pattern from the book Stretch!) instead of the original pattern pieces - which we have to say is genius!

The Billie sweatshirt and sweater dress was one of our most popular pattern launches ever and it's been great to see so many of you making your own versions. Michelle looks stunning in her teal blue sweatshirt and is serving us all the balloon-sleeve drama. And doesn't Lili's sweater dress look so cute styled with her boots and red beret?

Bobbi skirt

One of my personal favourite Tilly and the Buttons patterns is the Bobbi skirt and pinafore - an endlessly versatile wardrobe staple. Lena has teamed her classic cord skirt with a stripy Freya top for the cosiest winter outfit. And I love how Katrina has played around with the direction of the print for the hip pockets on her checked skirt.

Make It Simple book - Safiya & Bertha

Can you believe that Tilly's latest book Make It Simple was released almost a year ago? Kathleen has made this gorgeous, pineapple print playsuit using the Safiya pattern from the book and it's got me dreaming up summer makes already! Irene cleverly used remnants leftover from another project to make this amazing colour-block Bertha cardigan (pattern also included in Make It Simple).

We love seeing all the gorgeous tops and dresses you've made using our Indigo pattern and my jaw hit the floor when I saw these two dresses which were made using the extra pieces included in our Indigo add-on pattern. I love the peach-coloured, graphic print fabric that Miranda has used and her short ruffle sleeves are just dreamy! Raven's animal print midi-dress is right on trend, but that cobalt blue colour gives the dress a timeless twist.

Jaimie and Juno pyjamas

Is there any better feeling than climbing into a freshly made bed in a pair of me-made pyjamas? Hayley has made a pair of Jaimie pyjama shorts and decorated them with the cutest, iron-on Happy Fabric vinyl weather symbols. And Emily's Juno pyjama set (from the book Make It Simple) in a baby-blue sweatshirting look so comfy!

Cleo pinafore dress

And finally, no 'Your Makes' post is complete without a dose of Cleo pinafore appreciation. I'm in love with the autumnal tones Mims has used for her and her niece Tamara's co-ordinating pinafores. Danica's rust cord Cleo looks gorgeous teamed with a blue rollneck top. Is it okay that I now want to accessorise all of my outfits with rollerskates?

Thanks so much to all of you who've shared your creations with us - your makes always get us feeling so inspired, so please don't stop sharing them! Tag us @TillyButtons on Instagram and use the hashtags such as #SewingIndigo or #SewingBillie (or whatever the hashtag is for the pattern you've made) - we can't wait to see what you've made 😊
